The C Spire Nokia Bell Labs Fellowship program is a partnership among C Spire, Nokia Bell Labs and key Mississippi universities, providing an opportunity for top students to gain access to practicing engineers at C Spire and research leaders at Nokia Bell Labs. The selected students will be mentored by C Spire and Nokia Bell Labs experts as they pursue areas of interest at the universities that overlap with work being performed by their mentors at C Spire and Nokia Bell Labs. The expertise gained while at the university can be carried through graduation to employment at C Spire, which will include a rotation at a Nokia Bell Labs facility.

Routing and switching part of the network investigating 5G core transformation, network virtualization and slicing, software-defined networks, etc.
Providing service assurance, risk management, and resilience throughout the network while de-risking new network configurations and wireless use cases, etc.
Rising Junior or Senior in good standing at the University of Mississippi or Mississippi State University
Demonstrated interest in Access, Core, or Security
Must maintain 3.0 GPA
Enrolled full time in a Computer Science or Engineering, preferably Electrical or Computer Engineering.
