Summary
Provide C130 Aircraft Systems/Flight Engineer instruction in both classroom and simulator environments. Generate post training evaluation reports on each attendee. Assist as Subject Matter Expert in development of curriculum for new type courses as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide C130 Aircraft Systems/Flight Engineer instruction in both classroom and simulator environments.
Generate post training evaluation reports on each attendee.
Assist as Subject Matter Expert in the development of curriculum for new type courses as required.
Must be sufficiently robust to enter simulator, experience simulator motion, and take cognizance of attendees' safety when on board simulator.
Assist the Instructor Pilot and/or operate the Instructor Operator Station (IOS) during simulator training sessions
Aviation instruction is a highly specialized function that requires the instructor to have prior aircraft operating experience and the ability to hold creditability and the attention of the customer attendees.
Must be able to stand up and conduct academic instruction in simulator and/or classrooms for up to eight hours each day.
On occasion may have to be deployed on field assignments for periods of time up to 10 weeks or conduct other specialized assignments as required.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
5 years' experience as a C-130 Flight Engineer Instructor
2000 hours of flight time as a C-130 Flight Engineer
Experience in curriculum development
Bi-lingual (English and Spanish)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in English and Spanish
Must be able to clearly express procedures and physical processes and concepts to both our domestic and international customers.
Preferred Skills
Associates Degree/certification preferred
Detail oriented
PC proficiency with Microsoft Office software
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Security Responsibilities
Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
Work Environment
Must be able to hear and tolerate simulator motion, vibration, and acoustic environment and take cognizance of attendees' safety when on board simulator.
Must be able to stand in front of class and instruct students for extended periods.
Must be able to sit in normal instructional type aircraft/simulator chair, lift hands above head, and reach controls as necessary to operate FTD, simulator IOS or cockpit.
Physical Demands
Must be able to climb steps to enter simulator or classroom.
Conduct academic instruction in classroom, simulator, or other platform for up to eight hours each day.
Ability to do foreign travel for extended periods of time.
