Responsible for merchandising, pricing, and promotional decisions for Vireo-owned dispensaries that drive towards sales, margin, and turn goals
Vireo is focused on integrating standard medical, scientific, and operational practices into the medical cannabis industry, improving the quality, safety and affordability of cannabis-based medicines for our patients.
Responsible for the overall assortment and pricing strategy within Vireo dispensaries
Develop and foster relationship with vendor partners
Maintain the appropriate level of inventory in each location
Tracks and manages all open purchase orders
Partners with dispensary operations on product, sales, and promotional initiatives
Develops sales forecasts and partners with manufacturing team
Analyze sales results and make recommendations for future assortment strategies
Makes revenue driving recommendations for new product opportunities and promotions
Understands the competitive landscape and identifies opportunities for Vireo-owned brands and products
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
5-7 years in retail buying, merchandising or planning
Experience with manufacturing operations
Superior writing ability and the ability to provide examples of written work-product
Problem solving and decision-making skills are necessary.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Must have good communication skills, orally and in writing.
