Job Description Job Description SALARIED POSITION POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Buyer to oversee the sourcing and procurement of materials and components essential for our production and online sales operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation abilities and supplier management expertise, with a focus on cost-effective purchasing and efficient production support.

RESPONSIBILITIES Review Material Requirements Planning (MRP) recommendations through the ERP system to analyze and initiate purchases for raw materials, components, and supplies required for production and e-commerce sales. Generate purchase orders, monitor order progress, and collaborate with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies. Expedite or reschedule orders as needed to ensure production timelines are met.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable pricing and terms. Manage and resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner. Continuously monitor and update minimum/maximum inventory levels to prevent both stockouts and overstocking.

Analyze inventory turnover rates and collaborate with management to make informed decisions regarding product offerings, especially for items with low sales velocity. Coordinate with warehouse management on returns and dropship credits with suppliers. Utilize Google Sheets for inventory tracking and reporting, ensuring seamless communication with the management team.

Communicate effectively with Managers, Team Leads, and Coordinators regarding product shortages, defects, or delays. Stay informed on market trends and competitor pricing to make data-driven purchasing decisions. QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing, with hands-on experience using ERP systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with strong analytical capabilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
