Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.

o Task and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following:

? Reviews proposals, conducts analysis, selects suppliers, and issues Purchase Orders

? Leverages strategic partnerships and optimizes existing agreements to mitigate risk and contain cost

? Applies price and cost analysis principles with a focus on Total Cost of Ownership; determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules

? Interfaces with leverage teams, management and business leaders, as applicable

? Supports corporate RFx, as needed, to assist in driving cost containment and affecting process streamlining initiatives

? Able to support multiple complex procurements in a fast-paced environment

? Maintains compliant records consistent with corporate policies and industry best practices

? Identifies and affects process improvement areas to drive corporate-wide cost containment

? Prepares detailed and complex formal bid documents ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines

? Negotiates contract terms and conditions with suppliers

2-5 years of related purchasing experience.

? Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel

? Superior customer service related skills

? Strong negotiation skills

? Must be a US citizen for systems access

The following is considered a plus:

o Experience working with Deltek Costpoint Accounting software

o Familiarity with SAP and/or Oracle applications

o Experience working with the a US Government contractor and its requirements

o Self-starter, needing limited management oversight

Essential Functions: * Recruit, train, coach, motivate, and develop new and incumbent associates on company policies and procedures, product knowledge, and personal and department productivity goals * Alert Sales Manager of needs and concerns of the business and staff and communicate regularly with vendors, planners, distributors, and buyers regarding stock needs, customer preferences, and special events * Develop and implement business driving events to achieve department goals * Review and analyze business performance of daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal, and annual sales results; * Assist customers in all aspects of service fulfillment by demonstrating proficient use of proprietary devices and applications; proactively create enhanced shopping experiences through the heightened use of tools, technology and collaboration; * Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality. Qualifications: Education/Experience: * High School Diploma or equivalent. * A minimum of one year of previous selling experience is required, preferably in fragrances. * Previous supervisory is also preferred. Language Skills : * Ability to read, write, and interpret general business periodicals. * Ability to effectively communicate with and present information to customers, vendors, buyers, peers, and all levels of management. Mathematical Skills: * Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. * Able to use a calculator. * Must be able to calculate percentages and ratios. * Must be able to make change using American monetary units. Reasoning Ability: * Must be able to anticipate and solve problems. Physical Demands: * This position requires constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, and standing. Must be able to stand for at least two consecutive hours. * Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs. * May occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders. * Vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Other Skills: * Superior organizational and time management skills. * Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. * Must be able to build relationships and influence others. * Must possess a thirst for knowledge. * Must be able to lead by example. Work Hours: * Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours, which may include day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays based on department and store/company needs.
