Description:Position is responsible for procuring materials and services in support of the Air Dominance programs. Also responsible for managing the performance of critical Bill of Material (BOM) procurements through The South East Material Acquisition Center (SEMAC) and potentially major subcontracts including the oversight of sub tier suppliers. Individual will be a Global Supply Chain representative supporting multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and/or Supplier Management Teams (SMTs). Individual will be responsible for:

Purchasing hardware and service requirements as required. This includes generating all required purchase order evaluations and documentation; negotiating with suppliers; and successfully completing required purchase order files.

Leading / participating in Supplier Management Teams (SMTs).

Interfacing on a regular basis with both internal customers, suppliers and procurement teams.

Work closely with technical operations, production operations, Quality, production control on hardware development and/or delivery of various operational hardware and test equipment.

Must be organized and able to work autonomously with reduced oversight.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience placing US government purchase orders.

Experience resolving complex hardware delivery issues

Experience in SAP or equivalent MRP systems

Good working knowledge of MRP processes

Demonstrated material handling skills

Knowledge of invoice payments processes

Supply chain experience

Experience with and knowledge of FAR/DFARS compliance requirements

Very good organizational skills

Proficient communication skills

Be willing to work in a team environment

Be familiar with lean six sigma processes and procedures

Candidate should be able to read and understand technical drawings and documents

Be capable of prioritizing heavy workloads efficiently

Have experience working with MRP databases

Desired Skills:

Experience placing Purchase Orders (PO's) greater than $25K within a government procurement system

Demonstrated negotiation skills

Experience with SAP

Green / Black Belt Certified

Earned Value Management System (EVMS) trained / certified

Experience working with suppliers in a development environment

Experience working with cross-functional teams, to specifically include design engineering, supplier quality and test engineering

VIEW JOBS 11/26/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-02-24T00:00 Description:This position reports to the Southeast Material Acquisition Center (SEMAC) Functional Operations Team and requires the selected candidate to work with the Supply Chain to manage purchase order status and expedite hardware deliveries to meet internal build schedules of the Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) Programs. This position is in a fast-paced and high-volume environment. Daily involvement with multiple suppliers is required. The selected candidate must be able to work in a team atmosphere, handle multiple tasks with competing priorities, meet critical deadlines and have excellent written and oral communication skills. To be successful, the individual must be able to develop effective relationships with teammates, buyers, management, supplier contacts and program customers. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Manage assigned expedite queues(s) and the associated suppliers' purchase order hardware deliveries, and accountable to ensure responsible parts/hardware are delivered in time to support Lockheed Martin production requirements. Resolve supplier questions / issues associated with P2P/SAP Purchase Order acceptance, utilizing the Schedule Management Module (SMM) system for status entry and file uploads. Successful resolution of supplier issues based on supplier input, comments, and/or complaints. Daily coordination with multiple program representatives, buyers and receiving personnel for resolution of issues and discrepancies. Update and maintain records and tracking databases with the most up to date status. Role requires preparation and presentation of critical item status to SEMAC Management. Requires adaptability to rapidly changing priorities and providing detailed and prompt responses with appropriate solutions. Must be able to interface with both internal and external customers including Sr. Management. Half of the expedite team is remotely located and requires proficient communications long distance. Alert management to problems or potential problems that can't be resolved. Ad hoc tasks to support natural disaster impact assessments or delivery schedule realignments to support a program's sales forecast. The opportunity to travel to supplier sites to work delivery expedites or meeting support may be required while working in this role. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree. Considered career level.
