Buyer / Planner (Night Shift)

As a Buyer / Planner, here is what you'll be doing at the core, day to day.

Ensure the timely acquisition of parts and materials needed to service customer aircraft by planning and forecasting part and material requirements.
Coordinating acquisition with internal and external suppliers and materials personnel.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Ability to represent the department cross functionally.

Here's what is required to succeed as a Buyer / Planner.

Typically, 3 years of experience in aviation or material/parts environment or other demonstrated equivalent experience.
Planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize and coordinate workload within a multiple project setting.
Interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain effective working relationships with sales team, owners, outside counsel, and other departments.
Typically, 1-year experience in inventory planning and procurement
APICS certification (preferred).
Training or equivalent experience with an MRP system.
Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
High Diploma or equivalent.
Continuous improvement program experience (preferred).
Experience with Excel.
