We are looking for a Buyer to work alongside our Refrigerants and Consumables teams to ensure proper sourcing for various departments at our two US operational sites. You'll have the opportunity to develop and maintain relationships with key vendors to optimize purchased goods for the US market. Role Ownership:

The Buyer/Planner will be responsible for purchasing materials and components, managing inventory levels, and coordinating production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products to customers. This role offers remote flexibility to work with our Rhome site team and from home upon completion of training and onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procure materials and components from approved suppliers in accordance with production requirements and quality standards.

• Develop and maintain supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and terms, and monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery and cost effectiveness.

• Analyze demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production schedules to optimize inventory management and minimize stockouts and excess inventory.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and logistics, to coordinate production schedules and ensure alignment with customer demand.

• Monitor and track purchase orders, shipments, and inventory levels during ERP or inventory management systems.

• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks including supplier disruptions, materials shortages, and transportation delays.

• Evaluate and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance.

• Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, inventory transactions, and supplier communications.

• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory that may impact procurement and supply chain operations.

Certifications Required:

• APICS

Qualifications:

• Essential

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or production planning, preferably in the manufacturing or distribution industry.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• Proficiency in ERP or inventory management systems, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant software applications.

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, inventory optimization techniques, and supply chain best practices.
