Responsible for the procurement of goods and services from a class or family of suppliers in direct support of production, after market and MRO/Indirect parts operations. Contact with suppliers in the areas of negotiation, engineering and financial considerations, flow of material, and disposition of non-conforming goods.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the coordination of internal actions between supplier and the product
Insure the proper flow of material into Oshkosh
Provide assistance and coordination in the timely resolution of all defective material
Support all procedures for government regulations and public laws
Provide feedback to the purchasing agent and management concerning potential problems that could affect operations and customer service.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Degree or related field and/or equivalent experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Prior experience in a aftermarket parts distribution and/or manufacturing environment
