Job Summary & Responsibilities

• Executing supplier strategies to select sources that will set up new materials for success from a cost, quality, and supply chain performance perspective.

• Interfacing with engineers to obtain material needed for new product testing and existing product improvements.

• Creating purchase orders and interacting with suppliers on current orders related to new product development and engineering activities.

• Creating purchase orders for expense requisitions from the entirety of the company

• Working on cross-functional teams focusing on product upgrades

• Managing the purchasing of off the shelf items

• Working with quality on returns and quality issues for the suppliers under management

Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in manufacturing

Bachelor's Degree

Experience with MRP systems, preference on SAP

Detail oriented and organized

Strong understanding of demands faced by procurement in a high mix, low volume environment.
