Job Summary: The Buyer works with the Purchasing and Procurement Manager to support the Bath Enclosure Business Unit by communicating with Hydro AP and suppliers to resolve all invoice holds for both Magnolia Plant and Service Centers. This position also provides support with budgets, inventory targets and contributes to overall cost saving goals. This position reports to the Purchasing Manager.

Required Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• Minimum 1 year experience with Microsoft Office, Excel is a must

• Minimum 1 year experience working with Oracle/AP/Purchasing

• Minimum 1 year experience communication Engineering Change Notices to suppliers

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• College Degree preferred, but not required

• Manufacturing background

• Effective communication skills

• Mechanical skills would be helpful

• Ability to work as a Team

• Ability to implement change

Job Responsibilities:

• Order MRO items for Magnolia and other Service Centers.

• Make recommendations and help locations locate product that meets their needs at an acceptable cost point.

• Provides assistance in AP invoice resolution.

• Assist Purchasing and Procurement Manager with quotes for specific projects.
