Procure assigned commodity items
Expedite purchase orders to meet fast changing demand requirements
Resolve invoice discrepancies with account payable and suppliers
Supplier performance metrics including daily management spend control, cost.
Prepare supply orders and contracts
Manages the part cost process, cost performance and price development (contracts).
Negotiates item material cost reductions with suppliers
Analyzes quotations received, selects or recommends suppliers with whom orders are to be placed, and schedules deliveries.
Prepare purchase orders and follows up orders to expedite deliveries.
Manages inventory levels and lead times.
Processes NMIs, ECNs and suspension of parts to be obsolete.
Develops and maintains necessary records and files for efficient operation.
Performs duties in accordance with established quality standards.
B.S. Degree in Business/Supply Chain Management;
Or B.S. Degree in another field with three or more years experience in Purchasing, Materials, or Supply Chain roles
Systems experience preferred.
Familiar with lean processes.
Strong negotiation skills.
Good organization and follow-up.
Customer service orientation.
Ability to prioritize and act in a proactive manner.
Analytical skills and flexibility to simplify complex situations.
Credible and comfortable in front of suppliers, customers, technical community and management
