Identification, vetting, and selection of new sources of supply, when required
Developing and leading a competitive supplier selection process bids and commercial negotiations.
Managing Supplier Performance establishing and managing service level agreements (SLAs), and key performance indicators (KPI) per agreed terms
Identifying and implementing cost reduction opportunities across commodities, geographies, and business units.
Providing external market data, benchmarking of rates, and costs. Advising the businesses to ensure value for money by region, commodities, and business units.
Contracting directly negotiating with suppliers all commercial and legal terms per playbook
Knowledge of indirect spend categories, professional services, software, hardware, marketing or data
Over 5 years relevant procurement experience in large companies
Highly developed negotiation skills
Analytical Skills ability to analyze complex numerical and non-numerical data
Commercial Law strong understanding of commercial contractual law
Project Management ability to manage complex global projects, across time zones and geographies.
Stakeholder Management ability to lead and influence key relationships, internally and externally, up to Exec level, on a global basis. Including the reporting and presentation of complex ideas / concepts.
Strong organizational and communication skills ( both written and oral)
Experience user of ecommerce software for RFI's, RFP's and reverse-auctions and Oracle ERP system
High aptitude for customer service
Bachelor's Degree (Ideally in Procurement Studies, Business or Business Law)
Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M)
