As a Buyer for James Hardie Building products, you will open Purchase Order Reporst, create accurate Purchase Orders and maintai timely and accurate Purchase Order confirmations and provide additional purchasing support as needed. This position is a key role within the Accounting team, reporting to the Senior Buyer.

Bachelor's Degree preferred
Purchasing experience - preferred
Excel Intermediate User
Strong work ethic
Able to be on call everyother weekend
Creation of Purchase Orders
Confirming all Purchase Orders
Update Purchase Orders accurately on a daily basis
Daily open Purchase Order review
Monthly GRIR Report
Maintain inventory on office supplies
Participate in monthly inventory cycle counts
Monthly reconciliation of receipts on commodities
Verify receipts on blankets/lease Purchase Orders
Daily approval of Purchase order report on released PO's
Plant mobile support contact

Demonstrated experience in ERP systems software (SAP preferred)
