Job Description:
The Buyer will provide professional support for the implementation, management, and evaluation of all phases of Procurement for Cambria. The buyer will collaborate with key players within retail, marketing and Cambria to purchase product and services with a focus on retail in The Store. This position will also be responsible for handling correspondence communications with other departments within the company to keep retail marketing campaigns and events on schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Procures and sources assigned category/categories in accordance with company procedures and regulations
Drives the overall strategic business vision for a category
Manages supplier relationships with total cost of ownership principles
Works with suppliers to secure quotes and internal business partners to understand requirements
Maintain strict control over inventory levels in order to meet internal and external demand of product utilizing the ERP system
Expedites orders as needed
Develops and manages KPI's
Develop and implement efficiencies, standardized tools, practices and procedures
Partner with external departments to construct and manage a category of business financial targets and budgets
Leverage customer feedback to build seasonal product assortments with a data driven mindset
Interact with other teams to set expectations, report on, and coordinate progress in a project
Handles and resolves non-routine inquiries and problems for internal and external customers
Uses computerized systems for tracking and gathering information, troubleshooting, recording, and providing data in support of customer service issues
May include supporting and/or managing related systems
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:

Strong interpersonal skills to develop strong trusting relationships with internal and external partners
Experience in the home, building or interior design industry is a plus

Computer skills using Oracle, Tableau, Word and complex Excel spreadsheets
High initiative, self-directed and motivated
Good business and financial acumen
Able to effectively manage multiple competing priorities
Understanding of full cycle supply chain activities
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience: 2-4 years of purchasing experience. Promotional products experience preferred
Systems: Strong computer skills using Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel). Proficient with Google Suites, Oracle, Salesforce preferred

Managerial Responsibilities: NA
Travel Requirements: Local travel to other Cambria locations for meetings and store sales required
Physical Requirements: Office position requiring telephone and computer use
