Job Overview:

The Office Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations and activities of the Butte MVD location. The incumbent directs and coordinates administrative duties related to office operations; supports office production needs such as issuing credentials or administering testing; monitors compliance with operational policies and procedures and recommends new or changes to existing policies and procedures; coordinates and oversees daily reconciliation of accounts for driver licensing fees; interprets and applies provisions and requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA); determines and fulfills equipment procurement needs for the office; coordinates and oversees office property management and maintenance; and addresses operational concerns with Regional Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

  • Three years of face-to-face customer service experience

  • One year of supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Office, videoconferencing, and driver licensing technology systems proficiency.

  • Experience working with driver license credentialing and issuance processes.

  • Experience with Motor Vehicle Division software applications and programs (i.e. the Mainframe, MERLIN, image capture workstation, testing system, appointment scheduling systems, imaging, and courts.

Other combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Applicant must be eligible to apply for a valid Class A intrastate commercial driver license within 6 months of hire.
