Business/Systems Credit Risk Analyst

Location: McLean, VA

Duration: 12-13 months

Scope of Work:

  • Single Family Division is currently seeking a Risk Analytics Consultant to implements tools and methods of risk evaluation as a member of the Credit Analytics and Reporting team.

Responsibilities Include:

  • As Business/Systems Analyst gather business and system requirements for data movement and controls, develop and document mappings and rules

  • Manage requirements document

  • Engaged with developing SIT/User Acceptance test cases and data sets

  • Logical thinker performing data analysis

  • Solid understanding of business & systems needs and detail requirements

  • Develop test cases, test scripts and perform sit/user acceptance testing for data application projects

  • Gather and document Business Operational Readiness Review document

  • Facilitate requirements meetings and influence decisions

  • Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current data management trends

  • Have experience manipulating and analyzing large datasets including using statistical software

  • Solutions are innovative, thorough, and practicable

  • Works under limited direction

  • Independently determines and develops approach to solutions

  • Collaborate with team members and interact across organizational lines to meet business objectives

  • Review system requirements / spec to ensure business requirements are translated correctly

  • Interact, collaborate and support SIT/UAT testing

  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Analyze large datasets (Structured and Unstructured data XMLs, JSONs, PDFs) using big data platform.

  • Would be required to engage using Python, PySpark, PIG, HIVE scripts to filter/map/aggregate data.

  • Capture requirements for R&D and exploratory analysis to understand requirements and data.

Basic Requirements

  • Degree in Information Management, Computer Science or related field with 8+ years related experience

  • Worked in the business area or closely/directly with business are to gather business requirements/rules logic and develop code.

  • Solid communications skills verbal and written

  • Detail oriented and excellent organization skills

  • 5+ years of data analysis experience, with a combination of business and technical skills

  • Experience working with Version One or JIRA or similar tool

  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • 5+ years of SQL programming experience

  • 4+ years of SAS or similar programming experience

  • 4+ years of experience working with JSON, XML and CSV files

  • 4+ years of data mart/database/ETL/ Tableau experience

  • Excellent SAS, Unix and SQL programming skills

  • Experience with database, data model and data warehouse concepts

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Loan Prospector, Loan Quality, Loan Advisor suite application working knowledge or similar applications

  • Loan Manufacturing process knowledge

Preferred Skills:

  • Mortgage industry experience or financial / credit analysis

Education Level:

  • Bachelor Degree

Senior Associate, Scrum Master - Enterprise Services Business Chief Risk Office As scrum master for the growing Regulatory Practices team within Enterprise Services Risk, you'll help the team reach its goals by acting as a servant leader responsible for ensuring clear communication and organization of team deliverables. The scrum master will drive the appropriate Agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban/ect.) focused on predictive, quality delivery and driving continuous improvement of the team.
