CACI is looking to hire multiple Business/System Analysts to join our growing VA FMBT Team. We are looking for individuals who have Momentum or similar COTS system experience (e.g., SAP or Oracle). Applicants must have 6-10 years of experience with implementing COTS software. Must be able to work at our Ballston location. Due to contract requirements, US citizenship is required.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • There is no clearance requirement to begin employment. However, as a requirement of continued employment in this position you will be required to obtain a Public Trust.

  • Assist with implementing a COTS financial system and provide system and federal financial expertise relative to the organization's requirements.

  • Provide functional support and assist with documenting configuration requirements, functional design specifications, business processes, and user stories based on requirements.

  • Document configuration requirements, functional design specifications, business processes, and user stories based on requirements.

  • Under the guidance of more senior subject matter experts, develop expertise in the COTS tool, Federal financial management business processes, and ERP implementation best practices.

  • Collaborate with other analysts and client to understand the organization's business processes and legacy systems environment.

  • Work independently with minimal guidance from more senior subject matter experts.

  • Review requirements by business process area and develop test scenarios.

  • Execute tests based on Test Plan. Records results. Analyze results to assign Pass/Fail status, and create detailed and well-written Test Reports.

  • Elicit and document business intelligence requirements and conceptual designs for new reports, metrics, and dashboards.


  • Good analytical skills. Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and with a team to solve problems.

  • Self-starter. Quick to learn and put new skills to use.

  • Ability to efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines. Flexibility to put in hours needed to meet tight deadlines.

  • Experience with federal financial management and systems.

  • Experience with federal accounting principles preferred.

  • Experience with Momentum Financials a plus.


  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Computer Science, MIS or related field, or Accounting/Finance is desired but not required.

  • Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.

  • US citizenship is required.

VIEW JOBS 10/19/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-17T00:00 Position Information Arlington County's Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) is seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to be responsible for providing information technology (IT) application support and business process analysis and redesign. This position performs tasks across all phases of the systems implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, process analysis and design, selection and implementation of solutions, training, documentation, and support. Specific tasks and percentage of time spent on types of work will evolve as solutions and business needs change. Specific duties include: * Supporting the Parks and Natural Resources (PNR) and Planning, Design and Development (PDD) divisions by demonstrating an understanding of the business and technology needs, and taking initiative to research, propose, develop, and implement new or improved technologies or business practices; * Providing primary system administration and user support for tools and systems used by PNR and PDD; * Working with all DPR divisions to migrate to new technologies, such as Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and One Drive and to make more effective use of existing technology; * Serving on the team of DPR Technology Coordinators, and providing backup system administration and user support for tools and systems used by DPR; and * Developing and delivering training to facilitate end-user learning and development. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; the ability to plan and complete work independently and as part of a team; strong problem solving and innovation skills; and strong time management skills, with an ability to balance day-to-day operations with short and medium length projects. Selection Criteria Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field, plus two years of systems implementation experience in varying roles, one year of which included experience in the management of smaller projects or as a team leader on larger projects. Substitution: Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis. Desirable: Preference may be given to applicants with one or more of the following: * Experience implementing or maintaining Cartegraph or a comparable work order management system; * Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and One Drive; and/or * Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Additional Information Regular work hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Flexible arrangements are considered on a case-by-case basis.
