Business/Marketing Development Specialist Sr (Group Retiree) - PS26449
The selected candidate will work from one of the following Anthem locations: strongly prefer Richmond, VA or St. Louis, MO, but will consider candidates in Mason, OH, Va Beach, VA, or Thousand Oaks, CA.
This position supports the Group Retiree Solutions employer/broker marketing team. Responsible for providing business development and marketing support to complement existing processes.
Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:
Develops collateral, PowerPoint and talking points to support Employer and Broker communications and new business strategies.
Monitors and analyzes product benefits and services to help determine optimal communication strategy.
Provides research, analysis and recommendations on the external environment as part of the development of strategic plans for the business unit.
Identifies and monitors changing patterns of competition and recommends response.
Acquires and maintains data/information on market, industry, economic, consumer and competitive conditions and trends pertaining to health insurance/managed care and related services.
Supporting role for current GRS Employer/Broker marketing team.
Requires a BA/BS degree;
2 years of business development and/or project organizational experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Strong Intermediate level PowerPoint, Adobe and Excel skills required.
Preferred background in Business to Business marketing and Medicare marketing.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities is a must.
Managed multiple high priority responsibilities using strong project organizational skills.
Managed workloads and effectively worked under tight deadlines.
