  • Evangelize the business value of Splunk inside and outside the company!

  • Become an expert in Splunk selling methodology while driving adoption

  • Consult on the value selling process with field sales teams and sales leaders supporting opportunities with new and existing Splunk customers

  • Contribute to opportunities directly, engaging with clients and performing interviews to build the business case or document business value realized by the customer

  • Research customer business goals and initiatives and align Splunk to them

  • Perform strategic business and financial analysis in support of opportunities

  • Articulate solution enablers and core Splunk differentiators to solve customers' business challenges

  • Build financial benefits analysis models for practitioners and field sales teams

  • Leverage existing value selling material and tools to develop future deliverables

  • Develop new methods and/or improve existing value selling deliverables based on field and customer feedback

  • Leverage innovative approaches, tools, methodologies to facilitate further adoption and success in value selling

  • Assist with Splunk's on-boarding process and on-going field enablement efforts with value selling training, knowledge management, etc

  • Contribute to demand generation and thought leadership through executive presentations, blogs, webinars, speaking opportunities, whitepapers, etc.

  • Regularly provide relevant field experience insights to key stakeholders in product management, marketing, engineering,

  • Willing to travel within North America (around 50% travel)

Location: Dallas/Chicago


  • Minimum 15+ years' experience of which 5+ years experience in selling to IT or working in IT, with proven track record of advising senior business and IT decision makers on specific value selling, value engineering, or consulting experience a plus

  • Prior experience in enterprise software is a MUST

  • Strong sales strategy analysis

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related discipline or equivalent work experience.

Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses. Wells Fargo Securities Operations: Candidate will be responsible, in conjunction with Technology and Line of Business Management for the analysis, development and execution of Line of Business process onto Pega, work flow, Tool. In addition, evaluate the current Operations environment to re-engineer and prioritize processes for future Pega development. Candidate will be responsible for business analysis, key user related testing and implementation of change, and reporting, as well as relationship management with Operations, Business, Technology, and Program Management, and ensure quality of execution activities from planning to implementation. Initiatives will be many and varied. The position will draw inferences from process details and link these inferences to the strategic plan by considering business objectives while identifying and implementing process improvements and risk reduction solutions. Responsibilities include: * Coordinate meetings with the line of business to support/perform analysis on enhancements, testing, and implementation of various change initiatives * Communicate the analysis/solution status and updates to support product delivery initiatives * Ensure initiative status, issues or escalation are reported/communicated * Provide support of solutions to resolve operational issues and change * Candidate will assist in liaising between multiple business and technology user groups and aid in the planning, conducting and directing of analysis * Candidate will act as product development lead on key initiatives for the Operations team Preferred Skills: * Securities Operations Industry knowledge * Excellent writing skills for communication at all levels of the company, performing analysis for Business Requirements documentation, policy and procedure documentation, and other ad hoc communications * Expertise in designing process flows/diagrams * Strong ability to manage multiple initiatives and related tasks Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company.
