The General Manager of DPI is responsible for providing strategic leadership and tactical direction for the business. With full P&L responsibility and accountability, this position provides direct leadership and management oversight to the manufacturing and sales organizations as well as critical support functions (HR, Compliance, Finance, etc.) The incumbent works with LIXIL Americas leadership and the DPI leadership team to establish long-term strategies, goals, plans and policies in alignment with corporate direction and objectives.
Lead the development and implementation of DPI's vision and goals in collaboration with the DPI Leadership Team. Communicate that business vision and goals to all DPI employees.
Provide leadership to all key operating and functional disciplines within the business, including manufacturing, sales & marketing, finance, compliance, HR and other administrative functions.
Deliver results as committed in annual operating plan and cascaded business objectives.
Plan, develop, organize, direct and evaluate the organization's financial and functional performance.
Define and execute a growth strategy which drives increased profitable sales and market share for all products and services while maintaining the highest standards of customer support and performance.
Provide strategic leadership over business development and product development strategy.
Drive continuous improvement through the manufacturing organization and establish overall organizational expectations and metrics for Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery.
Establish credibility throughout the organization and with LIXIL Americas leadership as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.
Develop the DPI management team to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization and ensure a sustainable future business model through proper succession planning.
Support and ensure compliance with all corporate policies and Code of Conduct by all employees.
10 or more years of experience in general management, with prior additional functional business and management experience in a critical discipline (manufacturing operations, engineering, sales & marketing, finance, etc.)
Strong preference for leadership and management experience in a manufacturing company, additional preference for experience in the building products industry.
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Finance or related field. MBA a plus.
