Essential Functions


Our growing Commercial Aerospace Business is seeking a dynamic and progressive Human Resources leader to join our team. The Commercial Business Unit employs approximately 600 individuals, in beautiful Ogden Utah, right at the base of the Wasatch mountains. This facility is the largest location within Parker Hannifin, a 100-year-old Global Fortune 250 company. As such, the Commercial Aerospace business is pivotal to the success of our company, and this role enjoys a true seat at the table with the opportunity to help set and direct the vision and strategy of the business.

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong human resources generalist background that uses and encourages creative and innovative thinking, is process and solutions-oriented and has a demonstrated track record of driving talent management initiatives across the organization, in alignment with the business strategy. Additionally, the professional who takes on this role must have strong experience leading an HR team and a focus on employee advocacy and development.

This strategic role is not your traditional HR role, and requires strong business acumen. As a business partner to the Commercial Business Unit leader, this HR leader provides strategic advice, guidance and support in the areas of:

  • Talent acquisition

  • Talent management

  • Employee engagement and development

  • Organizational design and effectiveness

They will lead, manage and implement human resources best practices and programs to support the business goals for achieving profitable growth. They will manage the employee relations efforts across the business, working closely with the operational leadership to design and implement business aligned HR processes that promote positive leadership/employee relations and a high-performance engaged workforce.

Job Requirements:

  • Ten or more years of major professional HR accomplishments, including increasing responsibility and demonstrated experience leading an HR team.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a similar discipline, an M.B.A. or Master's Degree is preferred.

  • Demonstrated teamwork and team building skills in producing results and meeting organizational objectives.

  • Capable of assessing and developing individual and team skills and capabilities.

  • Able to create and maintain enthusiasm for new and challenging goals.

  • Serves as a role model by promoting new ideas and active as a change agent
