Hunter Hamilton is partnering with a large corporate client near the Cumberland Mall area and they are looking to fill multiple AR/Collections opportunities at their corporate service center! These opportunities are temporary estimated to last 9 months and will be working on site full time Monday through Friday. There are 3 shifts available and once accepting a role on a specific shift, talent will stay on this shift through out the assignment. Hours are 8-5pm, 9-6pm, and 10-7pm with the largest need on the 9am and 10am shifts. There will be a training class during the first few weeks to learn the ins and outs before being assigned accounts, and on average talent will be managing around 30 accounts daily. Candidates must posses at least 6 months to a year of either business to business collections experience or inbound/outbound customer service call center experience., proficient MS Excel skills, and excellent communication and critical thinking abilities. Hunter Hamilton offers hourly/weekly pay, direct deposit and temporary health benefits. The hourly pay for this role will be $24/hr paid weekly.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative duties that are associated with business to business collections activities.

  • Administer regularly scheduled collection call on assigned past due accounts.

  • Enter notes pertaining to calls into the company's database regarding all collection activities

  • Have a thorough knowledge of the billing and contract process associated with the accounts.

  • Read and decipher contract language to be able to use those details in negotiation of payment terms and conditions.

  • Be organized and detail oriented and able to provide top tier customer service.

  • Monitor accounts for write-offs associated with bad debt, and ensure appropriate signatures are received.

  • Coordinate monthly conference calls with an assigned region to deliver updates on outstanding account balances.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

HS Diploma and at minimum 6 months to a year of B2B collections and/or outbound customer service/call center experience.

Proficient MS Excel skills, Oracle experience is a plus.

Strong communication skills, critical thinking skills and organization skills are a must.

Able to work cross functionally with other departments to achieve company goals.
