Associate degree in computer science, information technology, or finance required bachelor degree preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in business intelligence and reporting on business data required.
Minimum of three (3) years of work experience with graphical report development or applications through Power BI or similar services required.
Prior experience with big data technologies, data integration tools, system administration and business acumen required.
Prior financial services industry experience preferred.
Job Purpose and Scope:
Responsible for data collection, report development, visual analytics development, and business data catalog management to support Corporate Finance's development of and involvement in a comprehensive Enterprise Data Analytics and Business Intelligence capability.
Essential Job Functions:
Develops a thorough understanding of the Corporate Finance business process, data and the system of record for Corporate Finance data.
Builds an understanding of Corporate Finance applications and their respective roles in generating business data, how the data services the Corporate Finance organization and how Corporate Finance supports these applications to meet business requirements.
Collects and organizes data from a variety of sources to assist with data management, reporting and data mart design and administration tasks.
Supports the evolution of Corporate Finance data mart architecture and roadmap.
Comprehends Corporate Finance data model structures, data management practices, extract transform and load (ETL) services and reporting services while guiding the expansion and increased usage of the Corporate Finance data mart.
Provides hands on technical knowledge and capabilities of SSRS report development, SSAS for analytical or XLS analysis and visualization development.
Supports environment change management control by coordinating data mart changes with various stakeholders as well as Information Technology and Data Innovation departments.
Supports ongoing management of data technology solutions in the area of master data management, business data management and reference data.
Provides guidance for data acquisition from Corporate Finance applications, Bank OZK applications and external data services.
Serves as a technical liaison to the OZK Innovation Labs, IT Database Administrator, OZK Data Innovation and Risk Management.
Builds rapport and an understanding with all levels of the organization to meet the needs of Corporate Finance leadership.
Advances the Enterprise Data Analytics and Business Intelligence across Bank OZK
Serves as liaison between various IT and Data Innovation departments and Corporate Finance.
Prepares ad hoc financial analysis, as required.
Interprets data to assist management with strategic decisions, creating process flows, and data mapping for Corporate Finance data.
Assists in identifying and documenting data quality issues, limits and gaps that may exist.
Maintains good punctuality and attendance at work.

Knowledge of financial analysis principles and practices and commercial banking.

Ability to work with data warehousing and business intelligence systems and knowledge of multi-dimensional modeling.
