The Legal Department's Operations Division | Operations, Projects & Support Section provides support to the Legal Department on critical initiatives and process work. This position will play a key role in various initiatives, requiring collaboration across Divisions to support the Legal Department's technology. The ability to manage concurrent and competing deadlines, quickly assess issues and identify mitigations or resolutions to present to management are essential to successfully fulfill the responsibilities of this opportunity.

The Business Systems Consultant Manager 2 will lead a team of Business Systems Consultants that act as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Oversees and facilitates evaluation of business requirements, recommending and directing the implementation of appropriate technological alternatives. Provides specialized, in-depth technical expertise and consultation to business and systems management. Manages staff to ensure effective design, analysis, project management, programming, training, implementation, and maintenance of enhancements. Reviews and recommends technology policy and assists in the systems planning process.

  • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.

  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of information technology experience
  • 3+ years of leadership or management experience, in an IT environment

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to research and report on a variety of issues using problem solving skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
