Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) businesses build enduring client relationships through sound, thoughtful and objective advice. We help our clients by developing individualized plans for everything from retirement goals to business succession planning, to family legacy intentions. Services include comprehensive planning and advice, investment management, brokerage, private banking, estate planning strategies, trust, and both individual and institutional retirement.

Wealth and Investment Management Cross LOB Compliance Analytics and Reporting team is seeking an individual with a combination of unique skills. These include a strong understanding of our firm's risk and compliance reporting environment and inter-connectivity of data points such as business hierarchy, source, issue, and corrective actions data. He/she must be able to apply problem solving skills, advanced technical skills and experience working within the risk and compliance data environment. This individual must be comfortable working with data and environments that continue to evolve and are subject to change. The ability to quickly identify changes, access their potential impact and implement appropriate changes to existing reports will be critical to success in this role. In addition to high level technical skills this position requires an individual that is highly consultative, and capable of combining data gathering, analytics, and business insights to deliver insightful findings and actionable information to business leaders. Success in this role also will require someone that is comfortable forming strong, trusted and collaborative relationships with key partners.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and manage new reporting solutions based on the most appropriate applications (e.g. Excel, SharePoint, SQL or Tableau). Tasks include:

  • Review existing processes and procedures

  • Document business requirements and functionality that will determine a successful a solution

  • Provide options to solve requests including mock-ups, test reports or reporting in a development environment

  • Maintain lines of communication collect feedback and provide routine status reports

  • Apply strong time management and prioritization skills to formulate, organize, and monitor inter-connected initiatives

  • Maintain integrity of reporting based on work with technology and business partners

  • Manage and enhance existing SharePoint sites, including highly customized lists (employing CSS and JavaScript)

  • As required perform UAT testing of views, stored procedures and SSRS reporting.

  • Support projects and/or initiatives that conform to corporate/regulatory policy requirements.

  • Be flexible and willing to take on new or ad-hoc projects on short notice.

A successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Comfortable thinking "outside the box" to find creative solutions to unique requests

  • Significant experience in analyzing, complex problems and developing and operational solutions

  • Proven ability to navigate through ambiguity and maintain momentum driving for results and clarity in uncertain situations

  • Must be a proactive self-starter who values personal accountability

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both
  • 3 + years of experience with SharePoint Designer workflows
  • 3+ years of experience creating macros and pivot tables in Excel
  • 2 + years of experience with SQL Server including, but not limited to, queries, views, stored procedures, indexes, functions, or triggers

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Other Desired Qualifications

  • SharePoint Designer

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VBA, PowerPivot, pivot tables)

  • Experience as a Tableau developer

  • Experience in Wells Fargo's Shared Risk Platform (SHRP) Reporting (Self Serve) as well as with SHRP's "In Solution" reporting

  • Strong process and facilitation skills with experience in project management

  • Self-starter with the ability to acquire new concepts and skills quickly

It all begins with you. Data Management and Insights (DMI) is transforming the way that Wells Fargo uses and manages data. Our work enables Wells Fargo to empower and inform our team members, deliver exceptional experiences for our customers, and meet the elevated expectations of our regulators. The team is responsible for designing the future data environment, defining data governance and oversight, and partnering with technology to operate the data infrastructure for the company. This team also provides next generation analytic insights to drive business strategies and help meet our commitment to satisfy our customers' financial needs. The Business Risk Initiatives Consultant is a key role in DMI's Enterprise Support function. This role serves as a thought leader and consultant to DMI teams and leadership, and is the single point of contact for DMI as well as key internal and external partners. This role is responsible for centralized coordination and implementation of Enterprise Risk activities across DMI functions and teams; providing execution oversight, coordination, and planning on key DMI-wide risk initiatives. They will act as a subject matter expert on risk initiatives and related topics, and will collaborate with DMI teams and their leadership, and key partner teams, including; enterprise risk, BCP, RRP, and Policy teams. This role will ensure that DMI implements the proper monitoring and metrics as well as coordinated communication and routine meetings to support the deployment and ongoing maintenance of risk frameworks. Additionally, this role may recommend continuous process improvements, identify risk control enhancements, and drive solutions for a stronger control environment on behalf of DMI. Primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to): * Lead cross-functional teams with varying levels of seniority and experience to support DMI-wide programs including; Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP), Attestation Support, Risk Control Self Assessments, and various Policy Compliance Activities. * Coordination of enterprise risk and related business process management * Business Continuity Planning (BCP) - Manage routines, communication, and coordination across DMI with respect to Plan Profile Exercise and Maintenance Activities, Records Verification, and Annual Refresh Activities among others. * Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) – lead cross-functional teams to complete RRP initiatives such as quarterly key roles identification. * Policy Compliance Support Activities – Support Policy compliance through identification, discovery, cataloging, and communication across DMI, Including regular routines with key partners, DMI functional leaders, and SMEs. * Enterprise Risk Identification (ERID) - Support our Control Executive partners in planning and communication of ERID assessment and assist in leadership attestation process. * Manage programs for the Enterprise Support Team through prioritization of initiatives and coordination of necessary teams and resources across DMI. * Establish & prepare necessary reporting and metrics to support oversight and monitoring Required Qualifications * 8+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services * 5+ years of experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) concepts * 5+ years of project management experience Desired Qualifications * Ability to consult with business partners to define key performance metrics, dashboards or scorecards Other Desired Qualifications * Consulting experience, preferably management consulting with a top tier firm * Synthesizing and presenting recommendations to leadership to drive and aid in decision-making * Outstanding collaborator and facilitator, possessing strong interpersonal skills to work effectively at all levels of an organization including: team members, managers, and senior executives. * Demonstrated success leading projects or programs with multiple business groups and broad geographic reach. * Proven success with creating timelines, allocating resources, and resolving conflict. * Experience leading cross-functional teams to execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives that are significant in scope, complexity and risk, working collaboratively across multiple stakeholder groups. * Adept communicator who is comfortable in highly visible and rapidly changing situations. * Skilled change agent, working toward solutions and delivery approaches in a shared services environment.
