We are searching for a Business System Analyst passionate about technology and innovation in the Tax & Accounting industry. The ideal candidate will excel at problem-solving, be eager to gain exposure to innovative solutions and methodologies, enjoy working in an Agile development environment, and want to collaborate in a team atmosphere where insights and contributions directly influence product and service development.
About the Role
In this opportunity as Business Systems Analyst, you will:
Design and develop programs to convert data from competitor software products to TR Tax and Accounting suite of products
Work with various tax, accounting, and document management software products and understand their data structures and functionalities
Collaborate with tech partners and other stakeholders to validate the accuracy and quality of the conversion results
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the conversion programs and report bugs to tech partners
Update and maintain documentation and release notes for the conversion programs
Participate in agile ceremonies such as standups, refinements, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Communicate effectively with the project manager and the team on the status and progress of the assigned projects
About You
You're a fit for the role of Business Systems Analyst, if your background includes:
2-4 years of experience with Azure DevOps Boards (or other Kanban Board)
Strong experience with trouble shooting
Must have experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
General knowledge of US tax law
Bachelor's degree in relevant field or corresponding experience
Proficiency in Office 360
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with accounting/general ledger and or Audit is a plus
CPA or EA is a plus
Visual Studio is nice to have
