Individuals in the Business Analysis role are responsible for serving as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization.
They collect, analyze, develop, document, communicate business requirements, and support user testing to achieve business goals.
Business Analysts continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction, deepen client relationships, and effectively manage customer expectations.

Based on breadth and depth of understanding of business needs and processes, they collaborate with IT professionals to determine if solutions currently exist (internally or externally) or whether new solutions are feasible. They take a broad perspective to determine how such solutions will impact existing work processes and systems, and how to manage the integration. Business Analysis professionals are responsible for proactively identifying technology opportunities that impact corporate business strategies and performance.

Business Analysis professionals educate project team members on business unit goals and objectives and educate the business on the value of information technology. They also display innovation in identifying, proposing, and overseeing the execution of business solutions. Through adaptable communication skills and the ability to translate between technical and business language, they work collaboratively, negotiating requirements across multiple groups.

Business Analysts must have a solid understanding of the clients existing business processes, the key drivers and measures of success for the business, and the short- and long-term direction of the business and related technologies. They must have a working knowledge of the business area that they support and should be equally aligned with the IT department. Strong leadership, relationship management, interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills are also required.

Business Analysts work with business partners within one or more business processes to align technology solutions with business strategies. They support one or more moderately to highly complex business processes. They serve as a team member, sometimes as a technical lead
REQUIREMENTS: Administrator certification
5+ years of experience

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to work independently and within a team setting with minimal direction/supervision.

Ability to think strategically, applying business insight/acumen and demonstrating critical thought in a complex business environment

Demonstrated effective professional communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills

Ability to prioritize workload and consistently meet deadlines

Ability to understand technical concepts and translate to operational processes.

Ability to understand operational processes and evaluate technical solutions.

He or she will take part in the development, analysis and programming of our MES IT manufacturing solution CGMS (Continental Global Manufacturing Systems) on schedule and in accordance with client requirements and global standards. The incumbent will work with all areas of the shop floor and its integration to other shop floor and ERP systems to support manufacturing process and operational needs for: * Tire production – Shop Floor Integration of the Extrusion/Preparation, Tire Build and Curing Areas * Mixing Production – Shop Floor Integration of the Mixing Area * Final Finish Quality Material Control and Traceability * Warehouse Delivery to support Shipping Because of the nature of this business (i.e. manufacturing 24x7) a successful candidate is expected to perform after hours or holiday support. Core Responsibilities: Core Responsibilities: Material Flow Control for Continental Tires 1.Maintenance/Support: * Support the full system lifecycle, including the design, development, interfaces, test, validation and implementation of new requirements. * Second level support for system operation and error diagnostics * Handling of Incident and Problem tickets and Change Requests * Coordination with global operations & support team & third level support for EWM/PP 2.Product Development/Optimization: * Development of an EWM//PP solution to optimize material flow efficiencies within an integrated quality system * Collaboration with the Americas plant key users and with global operation & support team for issue resolution or solution enhancement * Design, development and implementation of the interfaces to other MES components, as well as to specification and planning systems. * Basic system administration tasks, e.g. user access rights, server monitoring , logging and configuration * Improve performance of load processes by optimizing process design 3.Project Work: * Provide technical expertise in the design, development and implementation of the standard system in our manufacturing plants worldwide * Coordinate/manage projects in plants, including integration into the existing IT landscape and deliver technical and training documentation * New use cases / plant rollout and incorporate continuous enhancement of MI solution from product optimization tasks * Coordination/execution and control of test case catalog for new releases Job Requirements Basic Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of work experience * 2 – 3 years of experience in design and implementing Development and Support in Manufacturing environment. * Intermediate Database and SQL knowledge Preferred Requirements: * 5 years of experience in design and implementation Development and Support in Manufacturing environment. * Following Characteristics: a)Analytical and strategic thinking b)Willingness to travel (25 to 50 % globally) c)Strong customer service orientation d)Able to interact with intercultural competency on multiple levels using clear and open communication e)Flexibility, Commitment and ability to work in teams, Team spirit. f)Quick learning capabilities g)Interest in detailed work h)High drive, assertiveness i)Solution/Results orientated j)Willingness to take responsibility k)Able to interact with intercultural competency on multiple levels using clear and open communication l)Flexibility, Commitment and ability to work in teams, Team spirit. * Programming skills and knowledge in OPC / PLC technology is a plus * Multilingual skills a plus, Spanish; German or Portuguese * recently demonstrated experience in a consultative or operational role developing within a large global enterprise customer, preferably for Manufacturing.
