As a Senior Business Systems Analyst within PNC's ATM Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH.

This position may also offer the opportunity to work remotely from home.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment, contributing to assignments in collaboration with people who are fully dedicated to providing an excellent customer experience. You will have the opportunity to use your facilitation, analytical, and documentation skills to add-value and contribute to the success of the projects that our team is working on. You will collaborate with our line of business, technical, and quality assurance team members as well as other internal application areas and external vendors. Your skills will be utilized throughout the Software Development Lifecycle from the beginning of each project until implementation.

We are seeking someone that has experience with:

  • Ability to create functional/process flows, swimlane diagrams

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience utilizing Word, Excel, and Visio

  • Experience working within and an understanding of the Agile methodology as well as Waterfall

  • Experience with writing user stories to include API Swagger Stories and API Functional Stories

  • Experience and ability to create sequence diagrams

  • Familiarity with JIRA and VersionOne

  • Strong Business and Technical Analysis Skills

  • Strong leadership and facilitation skills

  • ATM Technology experience preferred, but not required

Job Description

  • Participates in analyzing business requirements and production specifications for changes made to technology applications.

  • Formulates and defines the system scope and objectives, based on user needs and business processes .

  • Directs business process improvement projects for internal business groups, aiming to improve business results .

  • Identifies and documents all system constraints, implications and consequences of various proposed system changes .

  • Provides recommendations for addressing and resolving business issues, for a specific business group .

Technical Writing/Documentation

  • Knowledge of the technical language and writing approach, and the ability to write paper-based and on-line technical reference documentation (guidelines, standards, procedures, processes, applications, etc.)

Workflow Analysis

  • Knowledge of and ability to manage IT work activities, processes and progress within a system to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Designs details of automated systems. * May provide consultation to users around automated systems What are the requirements needed for this position? * 4 years' experience in Project Management/Business Systems Analysis in Healthcare, preferably within Revenue Cycle. Bachelor's degree in Business preferred or equivalent experience in project management. * PMP Certification is preferred; not required. * EPIC Certification is preferred; not required. What other skills/experience would be helpful to have? * CRCR Certification is a plus. * Experience with EPIC, Cerner, Meditech, Connance or other EMR tools is strongly preferred * Experience with SQL Server desired What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job? General office demands, remote work environment. How much should I expect to travel? Less than 10% travel involved.
