Arthrex is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. Arthrex is actively seeking a Principal Business Systems Analyst
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Liaising with stakeholders such as project personnel, vendors, and end-users regarding project requirements.
Manages and oversees large, long-range, or multiple complex projects.
Develops project scope, cost estimates, human resource requirements, work plans, time schedules, and communication plans, and makes work assignments to meet project or program objectives.
Provides leadership and direction to the functional team so that tasks and activities are coordinated for project scope control, quality control, communication management, change control management, risk management, and issue management.
Participates in analysis of IT solutions by tracking the execution of features and capabilities using metrics and escalating and tracking impediments.
Using project management tools such as Workfront or MS Project to track project performance and schedule adherence.
Conducting risk assessments for projects and develop mitigation strategies.
Adhere to the Quality System Procedures and Change Control.
Lead and/or participate in delivery of projects.
Under management direction, may participate as SME for audits.
Ensure stability, integration, and integrity of production systems.
Communicate tradeoffs to business partners and work with them to shape requirements accordingly.
Help resolve competing priorities between stakeholder groups by facilitating stakeholder discussions and escalating issues where appropriate.
Specialized Skills
Experience in the implementation of PTC Windchill system along with its industry Add-ons.
Experience in integration of the CAD tools for MCAD and ECAD.
Experience in integrating the Windchill system with SAP and other enterprise applications.
Experience working in projects where multiple functions work in a matrix structure is a plus.
Professional certification in change management or configuration management is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of several business functions and related software applications such as Windchill preferred
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred (Medical Device manufacturing Experience is a plus)
Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
Experience with process improvement and problem-solving techniques and tools; Lean, Six Sigma
Education/ Experience
Bachelor's degree required
12 + years of relevant work experience required
Should have substantial exposure in Solution design, configuration & customization decisions, technical documentation.
Should be able to bring industry best practices to direct team for solutions, customizations, technical documentation etc.
Ability to learn Arthrex culture quickly and be able to implement/get implemented Customer-specific practices and standards.
Ability to take over all PLM Program/Project Steering Committee
Additional Duties & Responsibilities
Lead process improvements and IT projects to achieve business goals and objectives.
Lead collaboration with business for documentation of As-Is and To-Be Processes.
Identify opportunities to innovate and differentiate Arthrex from its competition.
Manage projects with cross functional teams and of global scope.
Analyze requirements, design and develop solutions, coordinate testing, and implement technologies, enhancements, and incident/problem resolutions.
Help senior management match strategy to organizational capabilities.
Benchmark current and future processes against industry best practices.
Support the adoption of solutions by sponsoring business departments.
Create functional design documents and other relevant documents maintaining adherence to the software development lifecycle.
Mentor junior Analysts.
Analyze business process potentials for streamlining and improvements in efficiencies.
Configure and maintain integrations and automation between applications using Application Programming Interfaces (API) and connectors.
Contribute to the development of a roadmap of projects and initiatives for enablement of new capabilities.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of cloud technology, including Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
Scout new technology
Enforce application compliance to IT standards and policies.
