Business Systems Analyst - Ofsaa

This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of our Buffalo, NY Tech Hub.

Join our dynamic team at the forefront of M&T's Finance Modernization initiative, spearheaded by our new CFO and Chief Finance Transformation Officer. The Finance division of M&T has selected Oracle as its Financial Services Cloud SaaS platform, which will be a catalyst for M&T to operate as a top 10 US bank.

Over the next 3-5 years, we will be iteratively building and releasing capabiliites to the entire Finance organization, such as: Operational Subledgers, GL Closing and Consolidation, Budgeting, Planning and Forecasting that positions the bank for unprecedented growth. This pivotal role is among the top 3 projects within the bank, offering high-profile opportunities and impactful contributions to the Finance modernization project.

Your involvement here is the key to automating business processes, as we shift from numerous disparate data platform sources to a consistent 'single source of truth' data foundation. Exciting times lie ahead - join us on this transformative journey!

As the incumbent, you will lead the OFSAA data foundation project from inception through post-implementation. Engage with all lines-of-business across the bank in the scoping, design, mapping, and implementing Oracles's Financia data model to meet our regulatory, SEC, Liquidity and P&L reporting obligations.

Assume the pivotal role of project lead, ensuring timely completion of test plans and specifications, while maintaining alignment with established milestones. You will be recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in this capacity.

Education and Experience Required:

Minimum of 6 years combined higher education and/or operational/business analytics experience.

Experience with Oracle's Financial Services Cloud SaaS applications (i.e. ERP, EPM, OFSAA)

Education and Experience Preferred:

Bachelor's degree

Subject matter expert in business with knowledge or experience utilizing application/system being supported.

Capable of working on multiple projects of a complex nature.

Advanced understanding of applications supported with a sound knowledge of interfacing/integrated applications.

Advanced knowledge and focus of the entire system to work on projects outside of normal BAU.

Ability to effectively use project management, word processing and spreadsheet applications.

Ability to recommend and implement solutions.

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $82,783.41 - $137,972.36 Annual (USD). The successful candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
