Novelis Guthrie is looking for a Business Systems Analyst, IT Lab Systems. The Business Systems Analyst would analyze, develop, implement, and support the quality systems including applications, data warehouse, operating system and hardware environment.
The analyst would implement and support the laboratory information management systems (LIMS) at Guthrie. Responsibilities include:
Provide leadership, project management, software development and ongoing support of lab systems and related systems and interfaces including troubleshooting, vendor liaison, user liaison and continuous improvement.
Work with corporate IT assets to ensure the support of the lab systems are providing required functionality to the Novelis business.
Work with software vendors to provide and improve support and service to active lab systems
Work with plant automation resources to provide and maintain seamless and accurate data handling, reporting, and analysis
Ability to understand the business problem, root cause and impact on the business is critical.

Skills and Experience
Microsoft SQL Server (Queries, Stored Procedures, TSQL, Database Design and Maintenance)
Business Analyst/Programmer (Software Development Lifecycle, software design and development, testing, maintenance, end-user support)
Bachelor's Degree required in Computer Science, Information Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
At least 3 to 5 years' experience working with IT systems development and business intelligence solutions.
