Business Systems Analyst

Job Description Job Description Job Title: Business Systems Analyst Permanent position USC or Green card ONLY Must be local to Pittsburgh.

Salary $65-75K Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15222 – Must be local to Pittsburgh. 3 days in office and 2 remote Purpose: Lead IT&S projects, applications, and vendors to meet the technology needs of the business.

Essential Duties: Project Leadership: Adhere to Project Management standards and methodologies.

Lead assigned projects. Application Management: Support and manage the system development life cycle for assigned applications.

Testing: Ensure thorough testing and proper deployment of newly developed or enhanced systems. IT&S Liaison: Facilitate communication between business areas and technical resources for design and development.

Adaptability: React productively to change and handle other essential tasks as assigned. Other Duties: Technical Tasks:

Assist with technical tasks and analysis. Analysis & Research: Conduct process analysis to implement technology-based solutions.

Support: Assist with various computer-related projects as needed. Qualifications: Experience: 2-5 years in Systems Development, Project Management, Business Systems Analysis, or Logistics with a Bachelor's Degree. Skills: Project management experience preferred.

Transportation background preferred. Entry-level knowledge of systems development life cycle. Familiarity with Client Server and web-based technology.

Understanding of database technologies and SQL. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, Visio). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Ability to troubleshoot application problems. Strong business acumen and ability to interpret business data. Additional Requirements:

Ability to communicate effectively with managers, end users, and external vendors. General computer aptitude, including navigation (IE, SharePoint), remote connectivity, and accessing different data sources. Company Description About Murtech Staffing & Solutions
