About the Oracle Product Release Business Systems Analyst Intern Position:

Oracle Product Release is seeking an Intern who will work within the Cloud Configuration team to manage the tools and processes supporting product configuration for Oracle's cloud business. The role will involve analysis of functional requirements, as well as hands on involvement working with the tools and systems used by the team during the product release process.

The Business Systems Analyst Intern role will be working with Analysts and Developers to create test cases used to validate development work performed to support the configuration of new products and services within Oracle's internal quoting application. Test case creation and management will involve working with multiple software applications, including Excel, Jira, Confluence.

Preferred Education and Experience:

US Veteran transitioning from active service or Military Spouse new to corporate experience preferred

BA/BS or equivalent life experience and exposure to one or more of these subject areas: Business Analysis, Business Analytics, Program or Project Management, Communications or related subject areas

  • Ability to learn quickly in a challenging environment and work as part of a team to achieve objectives

  • Strong problem solving skills and technical aptitude

  • Detail oriented

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Familiarity with software development and testing process

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Understand current processes

  • Conduct meetings to identify/document requirements

  • Update/Draft new procedures that support Oracle Product Release Operations

  • Submit documentation updates for review and approval

Will be responsible for analyzing inquiries, performing root cause analysis, and act as a liaison between Oracle IT and the business.
