Finalists must be able to pass a DHS Suitability check and Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Collect data on user requirements, existing and emerging systems, capabilities, and technologies

  • Provide engineering and technical support in assessment, evaluation, and testing of current and emerging technologies

  • Develop metrics for exercise effectiveness

  • Assist with the development and production of architectures, organizational charts, Concept of Operations (CONOPS), operational plans, operational procedures, and standard operating procedures

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of individual program systems engineering plans

  • Assist with the development and monitoring of technical performance measures to evaluate system architectures

  • Assist with systems integration efforts to include developing and maintaining integration plans

Qualifications

  • A Bachelors of Arts or Science is required.

  • Candidates must have 4 years of general work experience in an office environment including at least 3 years of specialized experience in areas such as systems engineering, systems integration, requirements gathering, and systems monitoring

  • Ability to communicate complex information in a straightforward, concise manner and have strong writing skills.

  • Experience providing subject matter expertise in relevant field.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.

  • Selected candidates will be subject to a security investigation (active in scope Secret Clearance is a plus) and must meet eligibility requirements for access to client information to include U.S. Citizenship.

More About the Role: The primary responsibilities of this Senior Business Systems Analyst position include: * Coordinate and conduct customer work sessions to gather and document requirements. * Configure Momentum system settings based on customer requirements. * Translate business requirements into test scripts; execute tests against developed systems, and document results. * Troubleshoot to determine the source of system errors. * Find and log system defects using software tools, including steps required to repeat, and track defects to closure. * Develop subject matter expertise for assigned components. * Provide subject matter expertise in support of technical activities. * Train and direct the activities of less senior staff. You'll Bring these Qualifications: * US Citizen with a current Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance. * Bachelor's degree and 7 years of experience using IT systems related to Finance, Accounting and/or Acquisitions. * Experience with IT systems functional analysis, requirements design, test development, and test execution. * Demonstrated knowledge and experience with software development lifecycle. * Experience in team leadership These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: * Experience with Financial Management and/or Acquisition Systems or Business Applications. * Experience with CGI Momentum software. * Familiarity with configuration of Momentum subsystems, specifically Momentum Acquisitions. * Familiarity Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and/or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) requirements. * Self-starter with initiative and aptitude to quickly learn and put new skills to use. * Strong written and oral communications skills. * Ability to work both independently and with a team to solve problems. * Ability to write and execute SQL queries. * Ability and initiative to set goals and execute.
