Business Systems Analyst II

Temporary Full-Time Position.

The Chatham County Project Management Office has a Temporary Full-time opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst II.  If you meet the minimum qualifications, we encourage you to apply.In this role, you will 

• Support end-users of business processes, information technology, systems, and services via telephone, in person, and remotely.  
• Diagnose and resolve problems related to business processes, desktop hardware, and software, provide technical support and training, and serve as the departmental liaison with County business units, ICS, users, and external vendors.  
• Use your expertise in technology to analyze user needs and recommend appropriate solutions to meet those needs and department standards.  
• Document system requirements, define scope and objectives, and create system specifications that drive system development and implementation. 
• Review database maintenance and manage the systems within the department to ensure the security of all records.  
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Application Technology, or a related field, and 
• At least three (3) years of analytical work, coupled with three (3) years of experience in business and/or technology system/application design, implementation, and database management experience at a large, complex departmental level; or 
• Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in public safety operations and system interfaces. 
• Working knowledge of CBAP or PMBOK.
