CEVA Logistics is currently hiring a Regional Business Systems Analyst. The RBSA is responsible for assisting customers and internal departments in system issues and specs for new and existing applications.

Primary Duties and Responsiblities

  • Serve as the primary, on-site IT point-of-contact with groups, such as internal/external customer, sales, BD, quality, and other teams as appropriate.

  • Perform analysis, process mapping and design or system configuration, development, testing implementation and/or support of applications, processes or controls that will allow the program team to achieve project goals.

  • Document business requirements and write specifications for applications customizations.

  • Evaluate and recommend modifications of current IT functionality that takes into account changes in business requirements or equipment configurations that would improve and simplify business systems and reduce operating costs in a future state scenario.

  • Communicate and provide to the customer, via phone or e-mail, information regarding the basic resolution to application related problems.

  • Document and monitor service level agreements as requested to ensure that information technology systems are accessible and perform at agreed-to service levels.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Computer Operations experience is a plus.

  • 3-5 years' experience with Logistics applications (Transportation, Warehousing, Cross-dock, Finance)

  • Certifications and Licenses

  • Certifications and professional credentials may be required for this position.

  • Languages and Communication Skills

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees and vendors.

  • Computer Skills

  • Computer literate.

  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and related job specific software applications.

  • Other Skills/Experience

  • Business analysis skills, requirements gathering, configuration and testing experience.

  • In-depth knowledge of the specific applications supported.

  • Ability to communicate complex situations quickly and clearly to people with a variety of technical skills.

  • Ability to resolve issues quickly and correctly

  • Ability to develop and document processes and procedures.

  • Ability to work as a member of a team.

  • Ability to work independently while following established policy and procedures.

  • Travel

  • Travel is required at least 25% of the time in this position. Travel identified is approximately 100% domestic (within the United States).

Working Conditions

Work is generally performed within an office, stockroom, and/or warehouse environment with standard office equipment available and adequate lighting. Warehouse environment includes exposure to high noise, moving machinery and/or vehicles, dust and warm temperatures, and working closely with others. The working environment and lighting are generally favorable.
