About the team
As an FIS Business Systems Analyst, you will support business operations for a strategic banking product for the world's largest global provider dedicated to banking and payment technologies. You will elicit, analyze, communicate and validate business/user requirements for processes, policies and information systems for the Card and Money Movement segment of the Banking Solutions division.
What you will be doing
This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst who likes to contribute new ideas and is willing to put in the work to build their career. Development teams are focused on collaboration using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology with emphasis on producing quality products and speed to market.
You will perform research and analysis to support business operations and translate findings into system requirements
You will work closely with software engineers and software test engineers to ensure documented requirements are coded and tested to specification
You will be responsible for your own time management for both estimating effort and completing your work within budget
You will attend and actively participate in daily standup meetings with your scrum team managed by your scrum master
What you bring:
1 to 3 years business analyst experience or equivalent experience
An understanding of the software development lifecycle
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to audiences of various levels in the organization
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making and time management skills
Positive outlook, strong work ethic, willingness to learn and grow
Added bonus if you have:
Knowledge of financial services industry including basic analysis principles
Proficiency in standard office software, such as MS Office, Visio, etc.
Experience with Atlassian tool suites (JIRA, etc.)
Experience with the Agile development methodology
Experience with software analysis and requirements gathering
