Candidates need to have client facing, implementation experience, specifically in the Insurance Domain. Client has a product they are doing an implementation for, the client is an Insurance company. Must have excellent communication skills.

Job Description:

Support individual client implementation efforts with a particular focus on driving forward configuration and set up, the business requirements, data loading and testing phases of the effort

Work with the wider project team and Project Manager to help establish project delivery plans and delivery estimates

Provide analysis to clients (internal and external) on current and future state data-centric operating models

Liaise with clients in order to establish and document implementation requirements, develop "use cases" to document requirement

Maintain an excellent working knowledge of the offering to perform subject matter expert activities, consultancy, implementation configuration and demonstrations

Analyze and document data mappings from source systems to the solution and onward data outputs for client implementations

Analyze and document any derivation, workflow and enrichment required within the solution for client implementations

Solution the business problem by working closely with the development team

Implement managed service offering, in collaboration with core Development team

Support internal and client testing activities prior to "go live" date and immediate post-production transition with the support of test plan development and test scripts

Help manage project to time and cost objectives

Support on-going enhancements to scope of services for existing clients as needed

Contribute input on specific and overall product requirements (for specific client or to close product gaps) and enlist Product support

Collaborate with other implementation team members to share best practices, raise issues, develop consistent global processes

Knowledge and working experience of SQL, Oracle, Toad, Squirrel, EDM and ETL are all an advantage.

Job Summary: The Strategy & Market Intelligence Business Analyst will research and compile information to provide insight to enable broad understanding of the power and energy markets leading into the potential sales of energy products and services. The research provided will aid in crafting creative, energy solutions designed to meet the needs of individual customers in the new, clean energy economy. Ultimately, the job would be to carry out research studies and insight initiatives to deliver recommendations for revenue driving, product and market opportunities and to assist in the decision-making process of a diverse account team whose members include sales people, sustainability specialists, financial modeling analysts, and executive leadership. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: * Work closely with the business groups to understand and support the business goals. This will include defining and working on ad-hoc primary research (qualitative and quantitative), market segmentation, drawing on various market reports, surveys, and sales data. * Work on insight programs and analysis, both routine and ad-hoc, to provide actionable market and customer insight * Conduct market research, competitor analysis, customer insight and sales analysis for the power market and beyond * Research and monitor various markets, industries and companies for which we provide energy services * Collect data from primary research, customer database systems and other data intelligence systems to provide timely and accurate market and customer information which informs business development activities and wider decision making * Condense multiple data points into insightful and clear learnings and implications * Remain on top of market trends at all times, be the voice to the business on changes in the energy market and other external trends that affect the business * Present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely * Produce periodic business /market intelligence reports * Work on multiple projects and coordinate work efforts with other team members Working Conditions: * Normal Business hours ; some overtime required as special project arise; normal office environment; Location is Princeton, NJ Minimum Requirements: * Master's degree from an accredited four-year college or university required preferably in a business, economics, engineering or a statistical discipline * 2 years of experience with behind the meter energy storage. Preferred Qualifications: * 3 or more years of experience with behind the meter energy storage. * 2 or more years of related experience, utilizing statistical analysis to drive business benefit with proven returns Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * A proven track record in analysis and insight with the ability to explain analytical work in a logical way, verbally and written, to provide insight and recommendations to a non-analytical audience * Proven experience in working with data, analysis and interpretation skills * Strong communication (verbal, written), presentation, and consultative skills * Strong aptitude for creative thinking in combination with a proven ability to work analytically and creatively in a problem-solving environment. * Preferred experience in energy or alternative energy industry and understanding of the issues and opportunities surrounding the changing energy industry and sustainability on the business environment * Results driven and able to work to tight deadlines * Advanced in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint * Preferred working skills in SQL, data management and reporting * Ability to work independently and as a member of a team * CRM experience is a PLUS Physical Requirements: Occasionally requires lifting as appropriate to perform duties and responsibilities NRG Energy is committed to a drug and alcohol free workplace.
