Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Identifies gaps and provides technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications and scales new and current systems, processes and procedures in a cost effective manner. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Computer Science or equivalent experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Experience, or Characteristics

  • 3-5 years of related work experience, understand and possess the ability to apply project lifecycle methodology.

  • Experience defining software requirements, writing use cases, functional specifications and enhancement requests, and creating prototypes.

  • Demonstrated experience writing stories and epics in an Agile development environment

  • Strong analytical background.

  • Experience working in Agile tools (such as Jira)

  • Experience with multiple platforms; including mainframe and client/server or web and mobile.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill, including strong questioning and listening skills; ability to look beyond obvious answers, and understand the impact on other areas is required.

Helpful / Preferred

  • Professional Registration and/or Master's degree.

  • SCRUM or Agile Certifications preferred

  • Experience with JIRA preferred

  • Experience with MS Office, Visio, SQL.

VIEW JOBS 3/25/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-06-23T00:00 Summary TSS Escalation Specialist will assist agents with procedural and product questions, problem solving, and trend spotting in customer, product, and tool issues. The Escalation Specialist will take supervisor calls and assist agents with incoming calls and offline work. In addition, the Escalation Specialist will continue to perform the duties of the TSS role. Required Skills: * Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing; * Solid knowledge of Tier 1 procedures, tools, and the products supported by Tier 1; * Solid record of adherence to defined standards; * Solid record as a TSS of adherence to time and attendance policy; * Solid record as a TSS of high productivity, including high working rate, low average talk times, and low refusal rates; * Consistently high scorecards and demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service; * Clear understanding of call management techniques and de-escalation procedures; * Ability to work collaboratively with a strong understanding of team dynamics; * Ability to effectively explain procedures and call management concepts and to encourage agent adherence; * Ability to accurately diagnose communication failures between agent and customer and to effectively resolve and coach for understanding; * Ability to use tact and diplomacy to build consensus; * Ability to provide straightforward feedback and to contribute to a culture of open, honest communication; * Ability to work with individuals from a variety of backgrounds, demonstrating insight into individual modes of learning and a basic concern for others. Functions and Responsibilities: * Assist agents in applying appropriate procedures, following wiki documentation, and identifying needed updates; * Follow written processes completely and correctly within defined quality metrics; * Listen to customer feedback and apply a solid product knowledge to assist customers and agents; * Ask appropriate fact finding questions; * Use established process and procedure to troubleshoot customer inquiry/issue; * Spot trends in reported issues; * Understand and train/explain network concepts (internet connectivity, router, data transmission, etc) as needed to address agent and/or customer questions; * Pursue ongoing system improvements and constantly seek improvement and efficiency through effective problem solving; * Recognize when training is needed and communicate observations to team lead; * Plan and prioritize work to manage time effectively and accomplish assigned tasks while remaining available to agents as needed.
