Position Summary
The Business Systems Analyst 2 assists with gathering, analyzing, specifying, and validating the business needs of stakeholders. This includes compiling user requirements at the direction of Business Relationship Managers and participating in technology-based analysis of business practices, processes and problems; developing solutions which may involve process design, data and information architecture, software development and policy or procedural changes; creating specifications for systems to meet requirements; validating requirements against needs; designing details of automated systems; developing user interface design; executing unit integration and end-user acceptance testing; assisting with training materials development for system implementation; IT service management coordination; web and graphic design for ORA, RPC, and TDG.

Qualifications
Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development. (Required) Experience with the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products. (Required) Ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language. (Required) Analytical and statistical skills with the ability to apply them to systems issues and products as required. (Required) Understanding of product management and market placement. (Required) Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including planning and organizing. (Required) Understanding of application development and software development life cycle concepts. (Required) Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, iOS, Android. (Required)Working knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards. (Preferred)General knowledge of business and process analysis functions. (Preferred)Skills and knowledge of methodologies associated with analysis of processes and problems, information flow and architecture. (Required)Familiar with process and systems requirement documentation standards, such as Use Case modeling, User Story creations and narrative description. (Required)Demonstrated ability to work with others from diverse backgrounds. (Required)Self-motivated and works independently and as part of a team. Able to learn effectively and meet deadlines. Demonstrates problem solving skills. (Required)Demonstrated knowledge and experience with web and graphic design, including skill in using relevant tools and software such as PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator, HTML, and CSS. (Required)Demonstrated testing and test planning skills. (Required)Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization. (Required)Experience with the organization's core software applications, including PATS, PAMS, RATS, ORC Portal, PI Portal. (Required)Knowledge of the organization's core business process, operations, and procedures, as well as related areas of IT. (Preferred)
Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business process management, or research information systems or a related area or equivalent experience. (Required)
