The Business System Analyst (Business Partner) provides subject matter expertise from his or her business function, gathers business user requirements, analyzes business processes and formulate solutions through the use of the portfolio of applications own by Spirax. The position owns and is responsible for the design, configuration, testing, implementation, and maintenance of business processes and the applications that support the Sales organization.

Main Responsibilities:

ERP and related Applications

  • Elicit, analyze, document and validate functional user requirements. Liaise with the IT organization ensuring solutions developed address such requirements. Accountable for value delivery to the company.

  • Act as subject matter expert in area(s) within responsibility. Participate in cross-functional team meetings to develop and implement business solutions and optimize operations.

  • Analyze data reporting requirements within a business process and facilitate report development, validation, training and deployment.

  • Define and create test plans, test scripts, and test procedures based on requirements. Coordinate testing and verify data integrity, document and analyze test results recommending corrective action if required.

Organizational Change Management

  • Develop, review, revise and recommend business processes and standard operating within the area(s) of responsibilities bringing a competitive advantage to the company.

  • Identify and resolve issues by recommending modifications to business processes and system configuration changes. Document application system configurations and procedures and create necessary documentation.

  • Evaluate proposals in order to identify potential problem areas, and make the appropriate recommendations to enhance efficiencies and the effectiveness of our current processes.

  • Propose interim business process work-around and system enhancements.

  • Evaluate and prepare recommendations for change in established organization methods and procedures.

Business Operations, Issues and Risk Management

  • Track and document changes in functional and business specifications and write detailed procedures that can be easily understood by end-users.

  • Conduct impact analysis of functional business process changes in area(s) of responsibility and evaluate business systems and processes.

  • Liaise with other functional area to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues.

  • Provide production support, troubleshooting, and resolution of functional application incidents.

  • Analysis, Evaluates and sign's-off on all change tickets for respective area.

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ Years of Experience in supporting Sales organizations

  • Experience supporting SalesForce and other marketing applications

  • Prior ERP implementation experience desirable.

  • Proven ability to teach others and to transfer knowledge

  • Capability to develop, influence and effectively implement best practices within the business.

  • Strong strategic and analytical skills.

  • Working knowledge with productivity tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio.

  • Ability to effectively balance competing priorities to fulfill customer expectations.

  • Proven experience in learning and adapting quickly to new tools and new business situations.

Additional Attributes:

  • Fluency in English (Spoken and Written) and Spanish and Portuguese a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Self-starter and independent thinker.

  • Ability to train and instruct others using non-technical language to explain complex subjects and processes.

  • Ability to interact with individuals and groups across all levels of an organization

This role analyzes and documents business needs within ES&P for Contract Lifecycle Management project. A primary focus is the business motivations, business operations, business analysis, and test planning that link these aspects of the enterprise together while aligning strategic goals and objectives with decisions regarding process, organization, capabilities and key initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES * Work closely with the Product Owner, Business team members, Architect, Tech Lead and IT leaders on options to solve business process gaps including business requirements supporting the Apttus Conga CLM implementation. * Solicit and document business requirements, create and manage user stories, and other requirement documentation as needed. * Partner with support team members to effectively deliver product changes and the transition of post go live support activities; provides escalated support assistance as required * Work with offshore partners to deliver solutions that better enable the overall value chain * Works with QA to ensure test cases/test steps are developed and address any questions by QA * Co-ordinates / Ensures execution of integration test cases by QA team * Co-ordinates with business lead/ support and address any questions in UAT testing * Provide regular administration and support of team demand queue and work request systems * Monitor work log queue to route requests appropriately and adhere to defined work process for this function. * Participate in scrum, agile ceremonies, and team meetings * Participate in change initiatives and act as change advocate and supporter as directed * May be member of multiple IT projects.
