Job Description:

CACI is seeking professionally resourceful, customer-oriented candidates able to quickly learn new business processes, troubleshoot system functionality and perform independently in a fast paced, challenging environment. The candidate will be working closely with our government client The Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) to understand and execute their business processes.

More About the Role:

The candidate will be part of the customer support team providing financial management systems' users with a central service desk that offers responsive, accurate and quality customer service for all their financial systems' related questions. The team supports the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS), the Asset Management System (AMS), and other related interfacing cuff systems. Onsite training will be provided. Users contact the service team via telephone, email or through Hewlett Packard' (HP) Service Manager, Employee Self Service (ESS) ticketing tool. We are looking for a candidate who will bring different innovations to the team and to grow in to a strong functional analyst.

The candidate must manage open tickets in the ticketing tool, escalate and follow through as needed until resolved. Ensure appropriate procedures are followed, obtain feedback from government personnel and propose actions for process improvement when appropriate. The candidate will be asked to document procedures, include FAQ items, and create knowledge base articles. The candidate will be working on training material and user alerts.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Prior experience supporting or training IT system users.

  • A minimum of 0-2 years of relevant professional experience is required if no Bachelor's degree is available; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline, and 1 year of related work experience.

  • Operating hours are 7:00am-7:00pm in Chantilly, VA, must be able to work 8 hours with in these hours.

  • Requires US Citizenship and active Top Secret clearance.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in a call center or Help Desk and Support center organization, providing users' support and customer service.

  • Relevant vendor certifications and/or additional education may substitute for years of experience.

  • Experience using any government travel and/or financial management software is highly desired.

  • Experience with HP Service Manager or any other incident management applications (Remedy, Rational, Serena).

  • Experience with applications built with OpenText (previously Metastorm).

  • Experience with any ERP (Momentum, Oracle, SAP) or asset management applications (Maximo, Tririga, Sunflower).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.

You will support the fastest-growing area of secure and trusted computing in Mercury Systems. Leverage working closely with multiple business and technical teams to analyze complex business opportunities. You will be focused on defense program business objectives within Mercury's Edge and Embedded Processing groups, as well as the strategic priorities of the organization. It is important to understand the business capture and proposal process and be very analytical with problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues. You are responsible for * Using complex modeling tools to document the current state of business processes as well as the desired future state based on business initiatives. * Coordinating Basis of Estimates, performing data analysis, scoping projects, and working with the business and technical management teams to prioritize deliverables and assess impact to the product lines. * Providing analytic support by coordinating data extraction from various databases and data interpretation. * Partnering with business and technical teams to provide data analysis of opportunities, threats, and meaningful trends. * Preparing for and conducting business process analysis, documenting, and presenting analysis and modeling results, and transferring knowledge to the execution team and project managers. * Supporting proposal preparation and coordinating with business unit leads on future forecasts * Supporting requirements for customer or contractual deliverables or obligations as part of the proposal process * Identifying and communicating the impact of proposed cost and schedule to business unit leads To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience * Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or equivalent field/experience * Specific experience in lieu of bachelor's degree in related field may be acceptable * Minimum three years of experience working as a Business Analyst * Prior proposal team and/or capture experience, including competitive proposals * Business analyst experience in a Defense related industry is preferred * Strong business acumen, including thorough understanding of excel modeling techniques * General knowledge of financial forecasting and business case analysis * Experience in forecasting and analyzing and ability to analyze profitability/ROI * Ability to work with Deltek Cobra, Oracle or other cost accounting systems * Working knowledge CPFF, FFP, T&M contract types * Demonstrated general familiarity with FAR/DFARS * Experience with ProPricer or similar defense pricing tools is a plus * Experience with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and Jira a plus * Proven customer interface experience (e.g. project oversight, customer presentations) * Ability and desire to collaborate and work with partners across the organization at all levels * Data mining and transformation and data visualization and reporting techniques * Excellent communication skills, written and verbal * Uncompromising embodiment of the Mercury Systems Culture and Values * Internally motivated, curious, and ambitious with an ability to plan, organize, and establish priorities to handle multiple projects and achieve results. * Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically Why should you join Mercury Systems?
