As the Business Administration Admin for our Bardy Diagnostics division, you will be responsible for defining and supporting business processes and transactions consistent with the business unit requirements and strategic direction of Baxter. This position is relied upon to understand the business system needs, identify, and enable those needs within the RCM billing system, and verify that all transactions are processing as expected. This includes coordination with other Business Administration Admins and RCM departments to identify and include all areas affected by the requirements. Baxter's Cardiology transactions are currently processed within two billing platforms, so this role is critical to the continued health and future improvement of Baxter's Cardiology business. The Business Administration Admin will focus and support all RCM functional areas of the Cardiology business.

What you'll be doing

• Act as a liaison between business users and system development and configuration experts within the billing system and its interfaces with Enterprise Software systems.

• Manage Billing system upgrades cycles and roadmap timelines for new developments within the system.

• Ensure business requirements are implemented and supported within the Software systems.

• Perform tactical planning and execution in alignment with strategic business direction.

• Supply an application and technical perspective to business users on proposed changes in business processes.

• Translate business requirements into assignments and tasks. Develop a project plan with tasks, resource requirements, timelines, dependencies, and budget, as necessary.

• Determine the integration requirements for projects/tasks and collaborate with Cardiology and billing systems IT Business Applications team for timely and successful execution.

• Monitor and maintain integrity of enterprise systems processes.

• Develop and implement a testing strategy to comply with the requirements of SDLC change control process.

• Create cutover planning to ensure seamless integration of new process and changes into existing business applications.

• Promote common system solutions and processes across divisional units when necessary.

• Improve business and technical knowledge skill sets through delivery of process training.

• Participate in project implementations as required and needed.

• Organize appropriate work instruction and SOP documentation for project implementations.

• Manage and lead system application projects as appropriate.

• Integrate with other Enterprise Application teams, monitor, and validate data accuracy and integrity in enterprise applications.

• Lead System and Data security initiatives for all applications, work with the appropriate infrastructure Subject Matter Experts. SOX and SOD knowledge a plus.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring

• BA/BS in Computer Information Systems or Business Management or equivalent experience required

• 3+ years business experience working in an enterprise application systems environment required

• Thorough knowledge of large, integrated enterprise application information systems required

• Ability to model business processes within enterprise application systems required

• Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience required

• Demonstrated excellent communication skills required

• Strong leadership skills and proven experience working with business professionals at all levels required

• Strong organizational skills required

• Change management skills required

• Experience in System Compliance and Security of Business Applications and data preferred

• Experience of Medical Industries preferred

• Experience in a highly regulated environment

• Strong project management skills and experience preferred

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $68,000-$93,500 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
