Role:

The role of a Business Support Specialist is to provide daily email and phone support for all Globus internal and field based clients. This will include assisting the clients with issues on all end user systems, devices, and applications and tracking each contact in the Globus service management system. The nature of this role requires a high level of customer contact; communication skills, professionalism, ability to actively listen and meet customer needs, address requests in a timely manner, follow instructions internally and externally, must be detail oriented and organized.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the service management system for support requests

  • Provide first level support and convey resolutions to customer issues in the ERP system

  • Follow up with customers, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution

  • Walk customers over the phone or in person to understand and gather necessary information related to reported issue

  • Update up to date customer data in the ticketing system

  • Evaluate and determine type of issue and properly escalate unresolved queries to the appropriate IT team members

  • Leading clients through discovery phase (asking the right questions)

  • Execute test cases to validate the ERP system

  • Other special projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Good to have below skill sets / technologies:

  • Willingness to learn new tools and technologies and take on new responsibilities as assigned

  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Ability to troubleshoot effectively

  • Ability to work independently and/or part of a team

  • Ability to stick to strict deadlines

Must handle highly confidential information in a discreet, professional manner. Responsibilities * Disseminate daily incoming mail accordingly * 3-Way Match purchase order invoice processing * Reconcile vendor statements * Report daily and weekly invoice metrics * Obtain and verify approvals on vendor invoices, miscellaneous requests and employee travel expense reports or through the PO match process * Verify spending amounts are in compliance with Corporate policy * Process invoices, miscellaneous requests and expense reports for payment via check or EFT * Perform daily invoice batch auditing * Mail weekly processed check payments * Deliver excellent customer service in a professional manner, resolving inquiries and discrepancies of invoices, expense reports, payments, etc. with internal staff and vendors * Utilize electronic scanning to store master accounts payable records; and, maintain files in an orderly manner * Collectively participate in supporting the team, the month-end close process and year-end audits * Adhere to all established policies and procedures set-forth within the accounts payable department * Complete special projects and departmental initiatives as assigned * Adhere to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies. Ensure Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role. * Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties of Globus. Qualifications * Associates Degree preferred, HS diploma required * Prior experience in corporate AP with computerized systems required, SAGE a plus * Highly organized and detail oriented * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to multitask and meet deadlines as required * Solid problem solving skills * Working knowledge of Windows & Microsoft Office Globus Medical is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
