ABOUT THE JOB

MU Health Care is seeking a candidate to perform moderately complex office support tasks, involving independent and specialized business duties for the assigned department or office.

The ideal candidate should possess a high degree of autonomy, exercising general discretion in tasks such as maintaining and extracting data, overseeing recordkeeping and tracking systems, and researching and organizing data for complex reports and presentations.

The role includes responsibilities such as reviewing and reconciling accountants, patient accounts, or payroll reports, preparing HR-related documents, and calculating/recording leave usage for departmental employees. Additionally, the candidate will support the preparation of complex plans, tracking systems, bids, and proposals, while maintaining accurate records of processes. The role entails working closely with vendors, customers, and internal or external constituencies, scheduling appointments, managing calendars, overseeing and ordering supplies and office equipment, and processing requisitions and vouchers.

The candidate is expected to provide guidance, instruction, training, and assignment/delegation of work as appropriate, while also fulfilling unit/department-specific duties and expectations outlined in department documents.

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

Maintain and enter/extract data. Maintain recordkeeping and tracking systems. Research, gather information and organize data to prepare complex reports, presentations, summaries of various materials, as well as compose and edit a variety of correspondence.

Oversee, review, and reconcile accountants, patient accounts or payroll reports, prepare HR related documents, calculate/record leave usage for departmental employees and respond to related inquiries. Support preparation of complex plans, tracking systems, bids and/or proposals. Maintain accurate records of processes.

Work closely with vendors, customers and/or internal or external constituencies. Schedule appointments and manage calendar.

Oversee and/or order supplies and office equipment. Process and sign requisitions, vouchers, and related documents.

Provide guidance, instruction, train and assign/delegate work as appropriate.

May complete unit/department specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired.

One (1) year of experience in a related field.
