Job Description:

Manages diverse administrative functions usually for a very large, complex department or business unit. Functions managed may include: financial control/budgeting and consolidation, personnel processes, audit/compliance, premises, and coordination of certain projects, associate training, service quality, process improvement, business continuity, or communication. May consult with senior management to define and manage projects that encompass and impact many associates. Requires a thorough knowledge of the department or business unit's functional area or products. Working knowledge of general bank policies, programs and procedures and financial/accounting practices.

Role Overview:

The Employee Engagement Communication, Design and Support role resides within a dedicated Employee Engagement Team supporting Consumer Lending, within the Consumer & Small Business organization. The Employee Engagement Team administers broad career development and recognition programs, designs national events and activities and publishes a wide range of communications using an all-channels approach.

The ideal candidate for this role is highly creative. They are an "idea" person with exceptionally strong writing skills and a portfolio of examples to back it up. They have a visual mind and at least intermediate graphic design skills and a working, keystroke level, knowledge of the relevant Creative Cloud applications. The candidate must be able to manage their workload with a high degree of independence and have the ability to proof their own work prior to publication. In addition to writing and design, the right candidate will be a skilled communicator and possess intermediate level or greater PowerPoint, Excel and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as editorial director for four Flagscape profiles and 24 content regions

  • Plan, write, proof and publish a daily menu of employee engagement related content

  • Provide engagement event communication and graphic design support using an all-channels approach which may include Flagscape, Connections, email, Knowledge Share, huddles, newsletters, and both low- and high- quality video

  • Design graphics for digital and print media to support Employee Engagement programs and ad hoc requests

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of engagement events

  • Manage the administration of one or more recognition or engagement programs

  • Leverage Flagscape analytics to drive continuous improvement

  • Provide general business support and administration

Required Skills:

  • 3-5 years related experience in Communications, Graphic Design, Business Support, Project Management or related field

  • Advanced writing and verbal communication skills

  • Intermediate or better graphic design and visual storytelling ability

  • Advanced Photoshop

  • Working knowledge of AP style and Bank of America brand architecture

  • Excellent time and project management skills

  • Comfortable interacting with executive level leadership

  • Outstanding attention to detail

  • Ability to use data to inform continuous improvement decisions

  • Strong business navigation and collaboration skills

  • Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities and tight deadlines

Desired Skills:

  • Adobe Illustrator and Premiere Pro experience
