Business Strategy & Operations Senior Project Manager, Visual Arts Malaysia
PlayStation's PD Services Group provides world-class content, development and services to Worldwide Studios. Our team is always at the cutting edge of technology and partners with the industry's best minds and companies.
Sony PlayStation will be opening our first ever Southeast Asian video game studio in Malaysia in 2020 where we will provide art and animation to develop global game titles for our current and next gen consoles. This will be the first project for a dynamic, motivated and focused Senior Project Manager who will lead all operations and executive planning, reporting to the VP of PlayStation's Services Group. This person will sit in San Diego and travel as needed (~15%).

You are a leader within the executive studio team responsible for;
Monitoring progress, priorities and actions following meetings and report on results and challenges to leadership team.
Crafting and polishing executive communications, including emails and presentations.
Optimize the decision-making process for leadership, helping to ensure only the most critical tasks are prioritized, and information presented is actionable to facilitate efficient decision-making.
Research and maintain comprehensive knowledge of functions, structure, and processes.
Act and operate as an internal consultant, working directly with partners, management, and various related departments to optimize team performance.
Research and stay aligned with studio strategy and roadmap to support the successful execution of business initiatives.
You will be responsible for planning meeting cadence, agenda and facilitating executive studio and leadership meetings.
You will build positive relationships to drive influence, lead and partner within and outside the leadership team to get results.
You will own and develop executive communications including emails, presentations, talking points and more.
Provide detailed and timely communication on developing issues to relevant partners.
Provide reports to senior management on project status.
You will represent the organization to executive leadership, providing visibility on major initiatives.
BA/ BS Degree or equivalent, MBA Preferred
Six Sigma, PMP Certification highly desirable
7+ years' experience in business planning, operations, and/or communications in mid/large corporate organizations. Prefer previous global experience.
Robust organizational and process management capabilities, including ability to plan and lead complex projects.
Ability to track, prioritize, and drive simultaneous projects to success.
Proven business insight within other corporate functions or global organizations.
Experience working with senior executives, ability to work effectively in matrixed organizations, strong writing and collaboration skills with a track record of collaborative partnership across a mix of constituents and organizations.
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills. Exhibit meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to make well-founded decisions.
A go-getter with experience executing quickly and thoroughly with minimal mentorship on complex, ambiguous projects. Ability to understand and simplify complex areas, frame the issues, ideate and communicate proposed solutions in a credible and concise manner.
Strong communication and presentation skills across all levels of staff and partners, with an ability to frame up status and recommendations for executives. Ability to present and discuss information in a manner that persuades, educates, and improves understanding at all levels.
Ability to organize events, meetings, all-hands and other meetings, including crafting the agenda and ensuring attendee preparation and meeting success.
Adaptable, resilient, flexible professional who is embraces new challenges and thrives in fast-paced, changing environments.
Technically savvy and curious. Ability to influence and lead others to inspire change.
In-depth experience using Microsoft Office Suite
