  • One of the main roles of this person will be to proactively maintain the Production Sales Bill of Materials for each of the six programs in the Regional and Biz Jets group. This entails coordination with the Program managers, the Configuration Control manager, and the Change Board team to understand all engineering changes that will affect the Bill of Materials for each program, determine pricing impacts, align pricing impacts with customer purchase orders, and notify the customer of needed purchase order updates in a timely manner.

  • This person will also have the duty of tracking the Spares Sales Bill of Materials for each of the programs as well. This is similar to the Production Sales Bill of Materials lists, but will have a deeper level of detail.

    This person will work with the program managers to identify the level of detail at which the program will sell spare parts, and publish a catalogue. Catalogue will be updated each time an engineering change is incorporated that affects pricing. Along with publishing the catalogue for the customers, this person will be responsible for maintaining the pricing table of these parts in SAP.

  • This person will also be engaged in supporting the Change Board, helping to coordinate and process engineering changes to the configuration of the nacelles. This will include coordinating pricing changes due to the engineering changes and implementing those impacts into the aforementioned Bill of Materials.

  • This person will also assist in various other business office activities where help is required. This includes but is not limited to: Purchase Order processing, responding to Requests for Quotes for spare parts, coordinating with the Cost Estimating group to obtain pricing quotes, assisting with Export Valuation requests from the customer, approval signature gathering, and general administrative activities.

Qualifications:

Must possess a BS degree.

This person will establish and execute sourcing strategies for parts where Collins partners with suppliers who own critical intellectual property. They will be responsible for negotiating and administering contracts and analyzing price proposals to enhance price, quality, timing and reliability of supply. Primary Responsibilities: * Set negotiation terms for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies. * Develop and execute Supply Chain strategies. * Establish sourcing goals and acceptable service levels. * Negotiate and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives. * Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices. * Evaluate suppliers' capability, quality, reliability, and price competitiveness. * Identify and conduct research on suppliers to ensure that the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply are met. * Develop a strategic plan for a commodity or a strategic supplier. * Responsible for overall relationship with one or multiple strategic accounts across a given commodity. * Lead sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature. * Ensure supplier or commodity is performing to the designed UTC requirements from delivery, quality and cost perspective.
