Job Description
Minimum 8 years of experience developing and maintaining medium to large-scale data warehouses with at least 4 years in a lead role
Minimum 6 years of experience in a reporting and analytics role that engages directly with business stakeholders
Hands-on experience with business intelligence architectures and implementation experience with the technologies that support them, ranging from traditional data discovery and reporting toolsets to database, ELT, and ML platforms
Strong knowledge of data architecture including a foundation in data warehousing concepts, data normalization, and dimensional data modelling
Understanding of Cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and experience with integrating into traditional hosting models
Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience using complex table joins and advanced analytical functions
Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather input from multiple sources and articulate technical recommendations that drive key architecture and business decisions
Working knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI, MicroStrategy, or Tableau
Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment with the ability to leverage resources and skillsets across various functional and technical domains
Understanding of IT project management methodologies and SDLC processes, such as Agile Scrum and Waterfall
Excellent written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the comfort to communicate with all levels of the organization
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience
Desired Characteristics/Qualifications
Experience with Media & Entertainment industry and/or distribution of packaged media
Enjoys learning new analytics technologies and being hands-on with developing and implement solutions
Experience with AI or machine learning platforms
Ability to effectively collaborate with teams across multiple territories and time zones
Additional Requirements:
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
